Athena aka Remy Rammæh (experimental poet, literary translator and entrepreneur) received a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature, and a Master’s in Cross-Cultural Studies, both from the Higher Institute of Language - University of Carthage in Tunisia.
A recipient of the Fulbright Program scholarship in 2014, she taught the Arabic language at the University of Iowa in the Unesco City of Literature (Iowa City), wherein she graduated, also, with an MFA in Literary Translation.
Remy Rammæh, currently, owns and manages BEYONDWORDS PROJECT & MAJEZ while continuing to write, translate and collaborate with her fellows from around the world.
Remy uses the pen name "Athena" as a tribute to the goddess of wisdom, strategy, and creative warfare. For her, writing is both a high-level art—a way to navigate the mind’s labyrinth, challenge conventions, and carve new paths of understanding.
Athena, with her blend of intellect and intuition, represents the balance Remy seeks in her work: sharp yet poetic, structured yet fluid. It is under this name that she allows her words to create their own mythology.
